How to buy an 'All-New Kindle Paperwhite' in South Africa (or other International locations) from Amazon

(This article will take 2 minutes to read)

Following on from my last article: "How to buy a kindle Paperwhite in South Africa", here is the latest in the series, "How to buy an 'All-New Kindle Paperwhite' in South Africa from Amazon". So this is the latest generation Kindle with a host of new features and benefits.

Note: that whilst this post is designed to help South Africans purchase the All-New Kindle Paperwhite - the links in this post can be used from anywhere in the world, including the USA to purchase your Kindle. - Enjoy

I have written a number of articles over the years to help show people how they can buy Kindle's direct from Amazon and thus get the full benefit of Amazon support and warranty.  I would suggest not buying locally from Incredible Connection or other PriceCheck type sites because these are grey imports and may lead to warranty problems.  Rather buy direct from Amazon and here's how.

You can use these links here to get straight to the Amazon.com International fulfillment page for shipping to South Africa.  There is the 3G and the WiFi model to choose from:

Lets look at some new features:

The 'All-New Kindle Paperwhite' is the latest generation of Kindle that was launched on 8th November 2013.  It has a few improvements which I believe are worth the extra spend and with Christmas coming soon now is the time to order to get your Kindle in time.

The improvements include:

Kindle Paperwhite 3GBetter Contrast for Reading - Whiter Screen and Darker Text.  Higher resolution screen and better font creation, leading to an overall clearer and easier to read experience.

New Page Flip - With the new page flip feature, you can skim page-by-page, scan by chapter, or skip to the end for a sneak peek without losing your place. This is a great improvement in my view.

Faster Performance - The new Kindle Paperwhite processor is 25% faster. Books open and pages turn faster for a seamless experience.

New Dictionary - Kindle Paperwhite's Smart Lookup feature integrates a full dictionary with X-Ray and Wikipedia so you can access definitions, characters, settings, and more without leaving your page or losing your place. I love the dictionary feature and use it all the time.

Vocab Builder - Words looked up in the dictionary are automatically added to Vocabulary Builder to expand your knowledge and reinforce retention. Swipe through your vocabulary words, quiz yourself with flashcards, and instantly see those words in context.

All in all this coupled with a number of additional new features planned for the upcoming future I believe that the new Kindle is a great choice.  I have owned almost all the kindles since the first one and this is just a great improvement.

Order direct from Amazon and you get a 30 day money back guarantee - if you are not sure, keep the packaging in tact and and if you want to send it back for a refund just ship it back in the original package.  As an aside, its worth keeping the packaging anyway, in case you need to return the device for warranty repairs.

Here is a summary of the product costs, shipping and tax.  The Kindle will  be delivered within 2-5 days for this cost. All in all a good deal I think.
