Content Marketing : Content Catalogues

(This article will take 2 minutes to read.)

Content marketing is a critical part of your marketing plan.  You should start with understanding and planning your content catalogue.  Here are some items you may want to consider for your content catalogue and a brief description of each.

Website content - As a minimum your website should include a home page, which is compelling and quickly tells your visitor what it is you do or offer and provides them with a reason to stay longer or take action.  Your website should also include a products or services page, a company page providing details about the company itself and of course a contact page with the different channels of contact that you offer.  An FAQ page can also be useful to provide quick answers to common questions you may field telephonically, online or in person.  A site map and a search page are essential tools that will provide access to content on your site and will help build relevancy.

Here's what you need to know about Responsive Web Design

(This article will take 4 minutes to read.)
The need to have a mobile offering for web solutions has never been so imortant as it is now, and will most likely become an ever increasing need as the demand for ubiquitous connectivity increases.

A recent study commissioned by World Wide Worx in June 2012 suggests that the South African Internet user base had grown from 6,8-million in 2010 to 8,5-million at the end of 2011 – no less than 25% growth.  Of that number a total of 7,9-million South Africans access the Internet on their cell phones. About a quarter of those 8,5-million only have access via their smart phone or other data enabled cell phone, with the remainder having access via conventional device as well, including a PC, Mac or laptop computer.

From this research you can see that a mobile strategy, whether you are in a B-2-B or a B-2-C environment is key to the success of your on-line and digital marketing.
